It was early in the morning on one of the busiest days of the year in Washington DC… the annual cherry blossom festival was in full swing and tourists swarmed the city for a peek at the pink blooms that only visit us for ten days out of each year. Not to be deterred, I met with Alyssa and Zack for a very “DC” engagement session shortly after dawn, and we made a pretty good time of it! Alyssa and Zack claimed that they were shy in front of the camera.. “we’re engineers!” they kept protesting as though that would explain everything. Clearly that didn’t hold them back — I think they were quite natural in front of the camera, but perhaps things come naturally when you’re taking pictures with someone that you love.
